Abstract
For leaders, the rapidly evolving work environment and a workforce that expects clarity, safety, and consistency, along with working conditions that necessitate rapid analysis and problem-solving cycles, can exact a physical, emotional and intellectual toll. In a previous Forbes article, Jeroen Kraaijenbrink described the challenging conditions of an “uncontrollable” environment as VUCA conditions (volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity).
